My Epithe. story starts in April 2023, in a hospital. My little boy was three and had become very unwell, very suddenly. The first 72 hours were a blur: no sleep, barely any food, endless cups of coffee. I remember sitting by his bed thinking, I cannot afford to get ill. I need to be strong for him.
I couldn't leave, and proper rest wasn't an option, so I started thinking about what I could do to look after myself in other ways. It was the first time I'd really thought about my health — not just getting by, but actually supporting my body.
A few days earlier, life had looked completely different. I was in a fast-paced finance job in Canary Wharf: up at five, at my desk by eight, usually drinks before the late train home. I loved it. But when my son fell ill, my priorities shifted overnight. He recovered after a few weeks, thankfully. I left the job a few months later.
What stayed with me was how I'd been living — running on adrenaline, caffeine and survival mode — and how little attention I'd paid to the basics. I wanted to fix that properly, with a routine I could actually keep: one considered daily powder, with everything I wanted in it, at quantities worth naming, taken every morning without having to think about it.
That's what Epithe. is. It was built out of love, fear, and the determination to look after myself as carefully as I look after him.

Why the formula was developed
Built in layers, not bolted together.
Epithe. started with a list of what we actually wanted in a morning routine, and a rule: if it went in, it went in at a quantity worth naming. That rule is why it's a powder. 5g of L-glutamine and 3g of inulin don't fit in a capsule.
From there the formula was built in three layers — live cultures, foundational ingredients, and the vitamins and minerals — with each ingredient chosen in a form that would mix cleanly in cold water and taste of raspberry and apple rather than of itself.

We believe you should know exactly what you're taking. Every active ingredient is named. Every meaningful quantity is shown. Where an ingredient carries a health claim that's authorised in the UK, we print it in the exact wording. Where it doesn't, we say so, and leave it there.
How products are selected and formulated
The rules we work to.
Every ingredient has to earn its place at a quantity we're willing to print on the pack. We use named forms — magnesium bisglycinate, sodium ascorbate, methylfolate — rather than generic labels, and we choose vegan sources where they exist. Nothing is hidden in a blend.
Epithe. is made in the UK by a specialist food supplement manufacturer, to food supplement regulations.
